At Wadsworth Animal Hospital, we believe pets are family — and no family should be separated because of financial hardship. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Colorado Pet Pantry as an official Donation Collection Partner.

By donating pet food and supplies at our location, you help keep beloved pets in their homes and out of overcrowded shelters. 

Together, we can make a real difference.

What to Donate at Our Location

You can donate new food items and pet supplies for pets in need at our location. 

You can also donate open pet food and gently used pet supplies. Which means your unwanted donations can go directly into the bowls of hungry pets across Colorado instead of ending up in landfill. 

Colorado Pet Pantry distributes over 100,000 pounds of pet food every month. Here are the top items most needed at this time:

• Adult Dog Kibble: The greatest need, helping thousands of dogs each month.
  
• Adult Cat Kibble: Cats make up 44% of pets served; dry cat food makes a huge impact.
  
• Canned Dog Food: Especially valuable for older pets or those who need softer meals.
  

We Will Also Gladly Accept 

• Open bags of food (please tape securely to prevent spills)
  
• Food not in original packaging (place in a bag and clearly label with brand/type)
  
• Short-dated pet food (safe for use beyond the “best by” date)
  
• Pet supplies such as beds, toys, and comfort items ( kindly wash and clean used items before drop off) 

How to Help
