Meet Our Team

Dr._Eisen.jpgDr. Eric Eisen received his DVM from Tufts University School of  Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Prior to that, he received a Master of Science from  New Mexico State University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of  Massachusetts. He moved to Colorado in 1989 as has been practicing in  Lakewood since 1997. His wife Kim and their two Irish Wolfhounds, Zahava and  Myrna, live in the Boulder area. Professionally, his interests include giant breed  dogs, dermatology, dentistry, and surgery. Personally, Dr. Eisen enjoys music,  gardening, skiing, and cooking.

Dr. Carla Anema is a Denver native and a graduate of Colorado State University. She has been with the practice since 2000. Her family includes her husband, Brian and their cats: Avery, Luna, Smokey Joe, and Olive (the newest member). Dr. Anema enjoys reading, cooking (especially eating), traveling, and jewelry making.

Dr. Crystal Flores joined Wadsworth Animal Hospital in Sept. of 2007. She was born and raised in San Jose, California and received her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. After graduation, Dr. Flores moved from the beach to the mountains of Colorado in pursuit of snow. After working in the veterinary and medical field for several years, Dr. Flores decided to pursue her veterinary degree and graduated from Colorado State University with her DVM in 2003. Dr. Flores lives in Evergreen with her two Catahoula dogs (Hank and Desmond) and a cat (R2 Schmoo). In her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, snowboarding, and concerts. She also enjoys working with animal shelters and often has a 'foster' animal in her home.

Allyson has been with Wadsworth Animal Hospital and Pet's Vet of Lakewood since 2000. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Colorado in 2008. She shares her home with a Great Dane named Ula, a Shar-Pei mix named Scooby, and two cats, Elmo and Church. In her spare time, Allyson loves hockey, hiking, and walking the dogs.

Rachel has been with Wadsworth Animal Hospital and Pet's Vet of Lakewood since November of 2002. She grew up in Florida and moved to Colorado in 2001. She shares her home with her husband, Brian, her two dogs, Coqui and Wilson, and her two cats, Sydni and Hannah. Rachel enjoys outings with her dogs, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Cammy has been at Wadsworth Animal Hospital since 2000. She has bred and shown Collies since 1979, and has recently begun showing Shelties as well. She shares her home with her two children, Mariah and Derek, and her loving dogs and cats. Her interests include traveling, showing dogs, and hiking.

Reneé has been with Wadsworth Animal Hospital since Sept. 2007. She graduated in May of 2006 from Michigan State University with her Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife. Reneé moved to Colorado from Michigan in Sept. 2007 and is currently attending Bel-Rea for her veterinary technology certification and will graduate in Sept. 2009. She has two cats, Tina and Lola. Her hobbies include fishing, snowboarding, and hiking. Reneé also volunteers at the Denver Dumb Friend's League.

Megan's smiling face is the first of many you will see at Wadsworth Animal Hospital. She started working at our clinic in October of 2007. She moved here from Wisconsin in July 2007 with her husband, Greg, and their cat, Angel. Since then they have acquired two more family members; a kitten, Rio and a chocolate lab, Lila. Megan's passions include spending time with her friends, family, and pets.

Erin is the newest team member at Wadsworth Animal Hospital, joining in August 2008. Erin moved from Michigan to follow her dreams as a veterinary technician. Erin graduated from Hope College in 2006 with Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. Erin is currently attending Bel-Rea and will graduate in June 2009. Erin enjoys living here and taking advantage of what Colorado has to offer including, hiking, fishing, biking, and skiing. She is also involved in teaching tennis and playing on both a soccer and a volleyball team.

Tamie has been a groomer for approximately 20 years and has been at Wadsworth Animal Hospital since the early 1990's. Tamie loves her job and working with animals. She is married to Rodney and has 3 children, Stephen, Valerie and Dirk. She has 2 grandchildren and 1 granddog.  She also has 3 doggie children, Gizzy a Chihuahua, Rosie a Yorkie, and Paulo a Saint Bernard. Tamie enjoys reading, being on the computer and spending time with her family.

Laura has been grooming for approximately 14 years. She has been with Wadsworth Animal Hospital since the early 1990's.  Laura shares her home with her two really great children.  She has 2 Brussels Griffons, Archie, and Izzy.  Laura also loves showing her Pixie Bob cats, and  currently owns the number one International Long Haired Pixie Bob.
